Textile Conservation
Clíodna set up her business at the Tower in 1992. Her services include conserving textiles, preventive conservation and condition surveys of textile collections, for museums and private clients. Objects are treated for future preservation. Clíodna examines, documents and tests the material before the conservation process begins. Treatments generally consist of cleaning, supporting structurally damaged areas and preparation for display/storage.
